Rap has come a heck of a long way. At one point the Grammy's didn't acknowledge Rap awards live on air. This year rap legend LL Cool J will be hosting. Rap acts don't routinely perform at the Super Bowl. However, countless Super Bowl ads used recent hip hop smashes as their background music. Now, hip hop is making its way into sports pre game shows. Before Lebron took the floor, his taste in pre game music and its lyrics came to light during ESPN's broadcast.
