One of my best friends purchased a gun not too long ago. He was dating a woman who came from a family of hunters. He is an impressionable city boy, with disposable income. This is a DEADLY COMBINATION.
One night, my impressionable friend was entertaining his high school buddies during an impromptu reunion, and decided to show off his new pistol while every one was intoxicated. Since I watch "First 48" and "Law & Order" on a regular basis I understand the damage that firearms can do.
I didn't want something like this to happen so I stepped in, confiscated the deadly weapon, and poured more drinks.
