Today I watched an episode of BET's American Gangster series. Sad to say that this miniseries is BET's best form of entertainment. Anywho, today's episode centered on former FBI leader J. Edgar Hoover who I learned was a raving racist and despised Martin Luther King Jr.
This clip seems to balance out my thoughts on race relations. The image of these gentleman, gave me the same weird feeling in the pit of my stomach as when I when I watched J. Edgar Hoover run amok in the late 1950's and early 60's.
In general, 69% of our society just doesn't get it. They are the people that make you scratch your head, pondering what the hell they were thinking. The remaining 31% are those that have chosen to represent a rational way of life, while being open to others, and respecting ALL KINDS OF COOL....What Percent Are You?
