Did you ever wonder who makes the unique Google logos that appear when you go to use the world renown search engine? Google has a team of professional doodlers whose sole job is to come up with creative ways to tie the image of the word Google with holidays, birthdays, and international sporting events. The phenomenon began in 1999 when the founders of Google placed a stick figure behind the second 'O' of the logo as a joke. Who would have thought that this joke would have turned into 300 U.S. and 700 international Google Doodles.

Check out this site to see some of the unique logo displays over the past eleven years.
