Wrap It Up

I’m tired of everyone telling me I should cover it up, as if I am the only one out here that’s doing it. It has nothing to do with me being young, because I know there are people well into their 60s that feel the exact same way that I do. Fact of the matter is many of you only wear them because you don’t want to experience the same ridicule that I go through.

Believe me I have heard all of the horror stories as to what could occur if I don’t protect myself. “You could get really sick” or “you’re going to wish you wore one when you get older.” It’s not like I never bought them before, but when it’s time to go I seem to always misplace it. So I figure what the heck!!

My mom has pleaded with me for years to stop thinking so foolishly and even brought some for me. And I do try for her, but it doesn’t take long before I plummet back to my ways and take it off. Not to mention they are not always that comfortable. Most are too small and don’t even fit right. Wouldn’t I do myself just as much harm if I did not wear it properly?

So please stop judging me, this is my life and I’ll live it the way I please. If I catch something you can go ahead and say I told you so.
But plain and simple…I Done Like Wearing Winter Hats. LOL
