In general, 69% of our society just doesn't get it. They are the people that make you scratch your head, pondering what the hell they were thinking. The remaining 31% are those that have chosen to represent a rational way of life, while being open to others, and respecting ALL KINDS OF COOL....What Percent Are You?

LIFE - Are you Evolving?
When was the last time you looked at a picture of the younger you? The you that wore clothes that would now be considered Halloween costumes. If you were too focused on your face and not your misguided sense of style, you would notice the changes that your physical appearance has occurred over the years. The smile lines that you now have, a scar from a pimple that you picked at, your receding hair line or bald spot, and so on.
Styles, dates, and time change, as do we. As we evolve, we subconsciously wonder if we have the courage to change or if we are willing to put ourselves in new situations and around new people that challenge us. Some of us jump at the chance to develop, while others make the mistake of thinking that the person they currently are, is who they are destined to be.
It’s never too late to start. Every second of every day provides you with an opportunity to evolve. For example, try a new food. Pick something as random as cheese. In any other circumstance it’s just another everyday food item, but this time, go nuts. Instead of the safe American, try Feta, Munster, Gouda, etc. Not only may you enjoy one of them, but maybe you’ll even learn some new facts that you can share at social and work events. Plus, it goes well with wine which is an added bonus. Evolving is easier when you have alcohol infused confidence. Your thoughts on these cheeses can be more intriguing to a bunch of strangers than your opinion on Bosh, Wade, and Lebron or Snookie, Pauly D, and the Situation. The small things add up. They make you feel alive and excite you in the morning. The uncertainty and excitement that you feel when you have something new in your life that is yours alone can give you the same invigorating feeling you had when you would sit Indian style for hours and play with your favorite doll or action figure. Your favorite toy in your eyes was doing super human things. The sound effects and dialogue that you added while Ken and Barbie or G.I Joe or and Hulk Hogan made only made things more surreal. Adding something new to your adult life pushes you to picture yourself in different ways. Venturing out of your comfort zone will lead you to bliss.
Self evaluating yourself is literally looking in the mirror and asking yourself if you like what you see physically, emotionally, and mentally. The person looking back at you will not be the person that you once knew. Some of us change for the better while others remain stagnant, which is can actually be viewed as taking a step back. Having the will to change yourself more than your clothes or physical appearance is the key to having lifelong happiness. Sure we are grateful to be alive. However, can you honestly say that you’re living? Boring is played out and will never be back in style. Try new things, be different, and be a better person than you were yesterday.
