You have to follow the rules!

I have a rule. A pretty simple rule at that. In short, if I am not sure 100% that I like something, or someone, I remove myself from the situation. Taking this rule a step further, if I am not sure that something or someone is what I think he, she or it professes himself, herself, or itself to be, than I remove myself from the situation.

For example, if I think a friend who has driven has had to much to drink, I will find another means of transportation. No need for me to be road kill.

If I am at a bar and think that a female may be attractive but I am not sure because of poor lighting, I will proceed with caution. I would hate to get home and discover that I will be taking every little step with Bobby Brown.

If I feel as if a salesperson is trying to fast talk me when I am making an expensive purchase, I consult friends or family who have experience in said expensive purchase. Money out of sight really does cause fights.

Those who do not live by this sort of rule, end up like soccer star Ronaldo!

From Espn:
Soccer star Ronaldo was questioned by police early Monday after a run-in with Brazilian transvestites in a Rio de Janeiro motel. Ronaldo accused one of the transvestites of trying to extort him.

Brazilian police sources said the altercation began when Ronaldo found out he was dealing with transvestites instead of women. The police inspector said Ronaldo admitted he knew they were prostitutes when they met earlier Sunday night but did not realize they were transvestites until they got to the motel.

"He admitted to everything, he wanted to have fun, but he committed no crime at all, it was immoral at best." Prostitution is not illegal in Brazil.

The AC Milan striker told police he offered to pay the transvestites anyway, but before he left one of them allegedly asked for $30,000 to hide the story from the media.

The Brazilian police believed Ronaldo's version of the story because the transvestite decided to leave the police station even before being fully questioned by authorities.

The transvestite also accused Ronaldo of asking him to buy drugs. In a statement to TV Globo, Ronaldo reiterated he was a victim of extortion and denied he has ever used drugs.

The moral of the story is, if he can get kicked in the balls and it hurts, then look the other way!
