I must admit. I wasn't much of Drake fan in 2010. I missed out on his initial wave and caught what his core fan would call the commercial or pop wave. Over time, his debut album, Thank me later, grew on me. With a few standout guest appearances at the end of 2010 on songs by Bun B, Rihanna, Jaime Foxx, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and J.Cole, Drake gradually won me over. He captured my attention so much that I was expecting Drake to own the rap game in 2011 as he married his back pack roots and pop fanbase.
